I appreciated the intention behind this one—tackling mental health and eating disorders with raw honesty—but the style and narrative structure didn’t hold me. I found myself emotionally disconnected from the story, though others may find it powerful and relatable.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest (if unfinished) review.

Belivarexic was truly such an insightful book! I truly enjoyed this story and I loved the characters!

Sadly didn't love this book. I couldn't get to grips with the writing style, though praise the writer on handling the topic sensitively. Many thanks to the publisher for the opportunity to read and review.

So far this has to be THE BEST book on anorexia/bulimia that I have ever read.

This book differs from the books about eating disorders in Jennifer's desire to get well. Usually we see the protagonist forced into treatment, fighting the nurses, being forced to eat. This book is less dramatic but probably more realistic. Not a book for everyone but informative.

Absolutely "Believa-fantastic"! I loved this book. This novel had me hooked and never let go. Such an honest story of eating disorders and the pain it causes for the victim and family. My students love it!

This was a heart wrenching story in all the best ways. It made me think, made me laugh, made me cry. It made me want to help so many people that I don't know where to start.
Jennifer's story is one that we can all relate to on some level, I believe. A story of family and finding who you are as a part of that unit - and separately - as we all must learn to do.
Definitely worth a read!
