This sweet book has languished on my NetGalley shelves for a long time, as I have not been as consistent as I'd like to be in submitting reviews. However, I loved this book when I read it enough to purchase it for my library, and it has been well used. Linda Urban's books are always a favorite for my kids! This mostly funny and sometimes poignant look at young Max's life as he adjusts to having only weekend adventure time with his father is also an excellent book for children transitioning into more difficult chapter books.
