I LOVED this story--so much so that I am going back and reading the first two, and will be waiting on the edge of my seat for more!!

Maeve Conlon is far from your typical "heroine". She's a baker, a divorced mom of two with a former husband who continues to complicate her life, as well as a boyfriend who is a local cop. She is also an amateur sleuth in cases that somehow involve her personally.

The difference between Maeve and most amateur sleuths is that she has developed a rather unorthodox habit of taking justice into her own hands. That makes this story a little darker than I had expected and left me wondering throughout if she was going to go rogue on certain people.

In spite of those concerns, or maybe because of them, I found the entire book to be entertaining and engaging.
