I am really enjoying this Max Revere series. Poisonous is the third in the series. Max is a journalist of a true crime tv show. This read is about a mentally challenged boy asking for help to look for the killer of his step sister. It is thrilling and was not able to predict.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the Maxine Revere series, and this book was a great addition! In this one, a young man with developmental delays contacts Maxine to investigate his step sister's death. What follows is a compelling story that focuses much on bullying. Maxine and the other characters were great in this one, and the suspenseful storyline was mesmerizing. I loved this page turner by Brennan!
