Although reading this book was not a comfortable experience for me, I would recommend it to others. MFK Fisher is just beginning to reach readers with her writing. This is the story of her relationship with her second husband, I think the reason I had trouble with it was because I didn't believe all the story. But when I looked up more information, I found that all that was in the book really happened. And of course, reading about the food kept me reading.
