It's official, I love everything August Li produces! The characters, the writing, the story. This is definietly one of the series that I'll reread in a few years and enjoy it again. The coverart is really pretty as well, a lot of coverart nowadays is but fewer books also have a pretty inside. Cairn and Covenant is definietly one of those books that is gorgeous both inside and out.
