Unspoken, the third book in the Shadow Falls: After Dark series, brings Della's journey to a close, but it doesn’t quite capture the same magic as the previous instalments. While I enjoyed seeing her character continue to grow, parts of the story felt repetitive, and the pacing lacked the urgency I was hoping for.

The romance between Della and Chase, which had been a highlight in earlier books, felt less convincing this time. Their chemistry seemed forced at times, and the emotional depth that made the series so engaging was missing from this subplot.

That said, C.C. Hunter does a good job of tying up loose ends and providing closure to the series. Fans of the Shadow Falls universe will appreciate the resolution, but overall, Unspoken didn’t quite deliver the spark and excitement of its predecessors.

Unspoken by C C Hunter.
Della Tsang is facing the toughest fight of her life-and the most personal. In her new role as an elite paranormal investigator, she's assigned a twenty year old murder case...and the accused killer is none other than her own father.
Making matters worse, since she was reborn, she's been bound to the mysterious and infuriatingly gorgeous Chase Tallman-a vampire with his own hidden agenda. Della still feels betrayed by all the secrets he's kept from her, but she'll need his help to find out the truth about her father. But what about Steve, the hunky shape-shifter who she can't seem to forget?
Fantastic read with brilliant characters. Had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who it was. Highly recommended. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
