My first by Brown and Heavy Hour worked well as a stand alone. This one is definitely not for the faint of heart. Very depraved and had me, the avid horror fan; mouth agape. The prologue seemed very simply written which had me wondering if the novel would be better and I glad I kept with it. After a groom is viciously murdered on his wedding day, the brides' sister calls in security specialist Salem Reid to figure out how and why. We knew the bad guy early on but trying to locate him was the suspense of the book! Definitely want to read more in this series
