I was enjoying the novel till about 1/2 way, when Beth started doing some really stupid things. I understand the need to be involved but with no training she was being reckless and was not only a a danger to herself but to the other's too. I would have locked her up in a room. After that I lost all interest in her. Clint was interesting, though. I really liked the character. He was consistently tough but with lots of heart.
