One night was apparently not enough and years later her lasting memory is forever burned in his mind. When temptation is too great they will finally find everything they were looking for.
Great, spicy romance--will fill out feedback for my company. Read with an eye toward the erotic scenes, which did not disappoint
Steamy.
Logan and Abigail had a one night stand.
She got pregnant (I hate secret baby books. Its NOT a real thing).
Logan went to jail for a year. Then he moved on. He only reassess his life after eleven (yes, 11 years) after a boat fire.
I felt bad for Abigail, who had to raise a baby by herself and had to put her life on hold.
Steamy times ensue eleven years later.
I thought Abigail needed more groveling from Logan (which there was none).
Purchased.
I received a complimentary copy of His Fantasy Girl in Exchange for an honest review. I'm pretty stingy on 5 star ratings, but this far exceeded my expectations. I loved everything about the plot, the characters, the dialogue, and writing style. The worse part is I lost sleep trying to get through this book. This is by far one of the best books I've read. .Way to knock it out of the park Nina Croft!
I thought this was a great read. Sexy and thoughtful, the main characters engaged in an affair that was magnetic and yet on paper was against all odds. They proved you can change, grow, and learn at any age. Plus the sex was just hot. #hisfantasygirl #netgalley
This is one hot steamy read. After nearly death experience Logan finds his fantasy girl who is all grown up. Abigal is shocked to see Logan again but she is keeping a secret and is time to reveal it. The attraction between them is still going strong and they can't keep their hands from each other. The story is easy to read and has likable characters. A story about family and love.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
Nina Croft's "His Fantasy Girl" is quite the hot book. The couple are perfect each other and their story really ignites the senses.
This was a mediocre read at best. There was nothing special that made it stand out from all the other romances with similar tropes. I didn't feel the chemistry between the two main characters and difficult situations were just resolved too easily. For example, Abigail's parents getting back together after ten years apart and from my understanding it was quite a dysfunctional relationship, to begin with.
The attempt to make the refusal of a promotion a feminist issue was a major issue with me. Abby is a police sergeant trying to make a detective. Her superiors frown on her associating with a convicted felon whose father has a serious criminal past. Yeah, it sucks because Logan is reformed and made a mistake but I would have my concerns too if someone who is supposed to uphold law and order could be placed in a complicated situation where she has to choose between doing her job right or turning a blind eye to possible legal issues. I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I love Logan and Abby. This might be my favorite book by this author. It's sexy and steamy and at times downright sweet. A near death experience, complicated pasts, and two different worlds make for a difficult journey to happy ever after.
I enjoyed this book, but Abigail was a bitch and she didn't really seem to have a reason to be. Logan didn't know she got pregnant and didn't abandon her. But the ending was good.
I'd like to read the other two stories about Vittorio and Josh.
If you love romance, bad boys with tattoos and piercings, and good girls that get butterflies for only one guy, you must read HIS FANTASY GIRL.
The background premise is so clever - three men: Logan, Vito and Josh are in a life boat watching the ship they were on sink. They were the last people off the boat and almost died. While floating in the Mediterranean:“Everyone had regrets. Now, each one of them vowed to choose the one big regret of their lives, and when this was all over, would go home and do something about it.”
This was Logan’s story and his regret went back to one passionate night eleven years ago where he met a girl who then starred in his fantasies every night for a year while he was in prison, and then some.
I’m telling you, Logan is hot like dangerous, long black hair, Harley riding, reformed con, rake, night club, mansion owning hot and Abby is a buttoned up, bun wearing, rarely dating, secret keeping police sergeant. Stop reading this review and read the book!
A night of passion that neither one of them can forget was exactly what Logan and Abigail needed. Just one night and they would go their separate ways and never have to deal with each other again. However things don't always work out like they are supposed to. Years later a situation occurs that brings Abigail back into Logan's life, and now the only thing tying the Ex-con (Logan) and the straight shooting detective (Abby) together is a daughter that is exactly eleven years old. I really liked this book because I found the characters really interesting and I couldn't get enough of their relationship. I loved Loan and how he was so cocky and fully of himself it was funny to see the reaction that it played on Abby and how much she wanted him as the book progressed, even though she knew that she shouldn't. I found this book to be a quick read however Nina Croft knocked it out of the
park as ways of romance novels go. I liked how there was lots of passion and flames to it however there was a real story line behind everything so even if romance novels aren't really your thing you will still find parts to like with this one. I can't wait to read book two.
Abigail Parker and Logan McCabe had one steamy night of passion eleven years ago. When Logan experiences a near death event, he reassess his life and decides to find Abigail. In life, Abigail has only let loose once and that was the wild night she spent with Logan. A lot has changed in eleven years, Abby is a straight and narrow detective and Logan is an ex-con, what do these two have in common.......a ten year old daughter.
I received a copy of His Fantasy Girl by Nina Croft from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This pains me to write since I am generally a Nina Croft fan, but this novel missed the mark for me. I felt that the plot should have been interesting given the story's summary, but the female protagonist, Abigail Parker, and her former one-night stand slash baby daddy, Logan McCabe, weren’t believable. Or very interesting together.
The characters were one dimensional and the plot was flat.
