What I love about this Loving on the Edge novel is that Sam and Gibson (Gib) both have demons from their past that they're battling in their minds. Current events trigger memories, doubts and shame within them. Secrets are a hard limit for Sam. Gib has a secret and his hard limit is exposure. Pain is game in this novel. Gib fights to refuse giving in, letting go. But when he does, it's more than beautiful. Gib is a confident, sexy man that needs to feel secure in his own skin. His attributes compliment Sam's need to be accepted and loved. Their journey through the struggles, pain, emotional barriers made me feel a connection to them. Letting go of their past and moving forward to happiness is a character building journey I can connect with. I loved their willingness, their refusal to give up and back down. Sam and Gib did it for me, and I hope they do for you as well.
