When she meets Rhodry, the leader of a mountain clan and an elite member of the guild, sparks fly. Rhodry is anxious to get the Earthers off Harp, before they destroy it. When Amanda wants to join the Guild, which protects the people from the predators as well as The Green, which protects the planet, she does more than survive the experience. I don't want to give away some of the most important parts of the story, but I loved it. Amanda is a strong woman who loves Harp, but some want to send her away. Rhodry is a born leader with a strong protective streak. Interesting story and I can't wait to read the next one. I received this book from Net Galley and Entangled Publishing a honest review.
