I really wanted this book to work for me, but it didn't. Mark and Maggie are in a rocky place when they start their annual road trip. There are hints of something more than meets the eye going on, but then the novel ends abruptly. And that's it. The only bright spot is it's short.

A slow moving novel about a young married couple dealing with trauma and discord in their marriage. They struggle to understand each other as they set off in the car during a bad storm. I would suggest this book to a reader who doesn't mind a slow, paced novel and one that appreciates character development.

What a weird story! A little bit of everything but not enough of anything! Awful ending! I'd rate it a 1.8 and it recommend anyone waste their time!
