I did not find this book to be anything special. I don't mind a dual timeline, but this one was especially annoying to me. It bothered me that the present time moved in a linear fashion, but the flashbacks didn't. They jumped around all over the place. I found that confusing. I probably would not read this author again.

I enjoyed the plot.
It was a bit of a slog though and easily lost interest in the backstory.
Really wasn’t for me.

Despite the thrilling premise, Just Fall was surprisingly slow moving. I think the Then and Now chapter setup didn't work for me and slowed the plot in a negative way. The characters were interesting and I did feel like the last chapters pulled me in and I curious to see the resolution.

I was drawn in by the seductive cover of this book, but unfortunately for me that's where the pull ends. Sadowsky sets up her novel in a "Then" and "Now" format. Always alternating between the past and present. This style could have worked if I felt like the "then" part was more relevant. I felt the need to skim past the backstory just to finish the book sooner. Not a good sign. Luckily the pages between those chapters were few. I also felt I was reading a book that was written to be a screenplay. Looking at the history of the author this is a feasible conception but it takes away from the flow of the book. It has a good twist at the end. Too bad it's not a book I'd read again. Special thanks to NetGalley for giving me an opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I'm going to be brief, I just didn't like this novel. The writing style didn't work for me and even though I thought the thriller aspect of it seemed entertaining, it fell flat due to writing. On top of that, the main female character is just not smart and I cannot stand a dim-witted woman who follows her husband blindly. It was a miss for me, but one I think others might enjoy.

A good book. Really fast paced, interesting plot and concept and good characterizations. Engaging as well as captivating.

This book was a complicated one for sure. I felt sorry for & angry at the main character alternately throughout the story. This was not a character that I could relate to. That being said, the book was one that you had to finish. It was interesting for sure.

I hated this book. If it weren't for needing it for a challenge I was in, I would have not finished it. It was all over the place and unpleasant in general.

Just Fall by Nina Sadowsky is a mystery and thriller and general fiction (adult) read.
How can you find out that the person, you love is a killer.....
And continue to love him anyway?
This was a really good read with good characters. I liked the story too. I wasn't sure if I liked Ellie or not. I liked the ending too. 5* from me. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.

I received this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review. I actually liked the story but there was too much detail and it was too slow. Lots of detail to paint a great picture. A good read but not captivating!

Accomplished but not compelling. A rather dull psychological novel of sorts

This was a decent book. It's a light thriller with a little bit of romance and the mix worked well enough. Some of the characters were not given closure. But overall it was entertaining. I enjoyed the couple, Ellie and Rob. And I enjoyed the way it jumped back from Then and Now. I think I liked that this was about a man who's a killer, rather than so many books we keep seeing of how the perfect couple seem perfect, but then find out he's an abuser or control freak. So many books have that same premise, and it starts to get played out very quickly. I liked that this was in a different way, and didn't try to hide the fact that Rob was who he was. Definitely decent and worth the read.
