Cute short love story. You have Blake a workaholic CEO who continuously loses his secretaries, one because he over works them, and two because some of them tend to hit on him. He meets Kira, as she is walking her foster dogs and she goes to confront him because he wants to build a waterfront in the building her mothers legacy is at, and she wants to save the building. They end up making a deal that she will work for him and he will try and save her building, although she is overqualified for the position, he has no clue of her pedigree. They ofcourse fall in love, blurring all types of lines, and they have a blow up over misunderstandings. They make up and have there HEA.
Blurring the Lines by Marisa Cleveland is Book 11of the Men of the Zodiac Series. Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. I was in no way confused or lost by the fact that I had not read any of the other books in this series. While Blurring the Lines is a quick read, it is in no way incomplete. This is my first time reading Ms. Cleveland’s work and I have enjoyed every second of this story.
From the very first page, you are sucked into this wonderful story that is brought to life with its captivating characters together with the right touch of heat and drama. Ms. Cleveland writes a very refreshing love story from dual POV’s that is pretty realistic and will make you melt. Very nicely done Ms. Cleveland.
