This was a good followup to the first book in the Hard Driving Series. This one features Grady and Annabelle. The two have known one another most of their lives, but Annabelle has just returned after being away for several years. She has come back to town when her marriage failed, and is living with her intolerant mother due to the dire financial situation her ex put her in. Grady hasn't felt successful in his position with his family's racing team, and doesn't feel worthy of Annabelle. As these two fall for one another despite their intentions, they have to each win some personal struggles before they can consider a future together.

Great characters and an interesting storyline made this one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

A cute, quick read that shows Grady getting a chance at love. I liked that Annabelle and Grady had a history...not an especially in depth one, but they knew each other, which made the fast paced love a little easier to take. I appreciated the Grady learned from his mistakes and that Annabelle wanted to stand up for herself.

All in all, a perfectly decent, if somewhat kind of shallow book. And I mean shallow because it's short and doesn't get too in depth.
