Brink of Dawn is the second in the series "Chosen". A young adult fantasy book, it has much appreciated diversity by including an American Indian theme. This novel was thrilling and action packed. I didn't read the first in the series but was still given a reintroduction to what had happened peacefully so well, I didn't mind. I love that the main character has so many powers but at the same time is fearful of her increasing power (showing how more power just means more responsibilities). I like the characters we were introduced to, including Blake, Akari, and Connor with Connor perhaps being my favorite. Troy and Juliet's relationship was also very sweet and earnest!
I would like to know more about Stewart next time!
