As a feminist I knew a good amount of the history and information presented in this book, but I still learned so much about feminist history, the ideas behind the waves of feminism, that women of color were left out of feminist movements until recently, and so much more. I’m really glad I read this and was able to learn more about feminism in general but also about the struggles of women of color, immigrants, lesbian, and trans women in relation to feminism.
