The setting had potential, but I struggled to stay engaged with the plot and characters. The pacing felt uneven, and I never quite found my footing in the story. Might appeal more to readers who enjoy slower, character-driven narratives set against rugged backdrops.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC, even if I didn’t finish.

Timber Creek Station by Ali Lewis did not make it to my classroom library. Lewis missed the mark with this book. When I read the description, I was so excited to dive into a grieving families life. However, the book fell flat in character development and plot.
