AN AMISH MARKET is four novellas all written by very well known Amish genre authors.

“Love Birds” by Amy Clipston
“A Bid for Love” by Kathleen Fuller
“Sweeter Than Honey” by Kelly Irvin and
“Love in Store” by Vannetta Chapman

In Love Birds by Amy Clipston , Ellie and her mother are still mourning their brother and son, Seth. Lloyd was best friends with Seth and he is grieving as well. Ellie has been in love with Lloyd for such a long time, but he just thinks of her as Seth’s little sister. Lloyd feels like Ellie has betrayed him. Can she convince Lloyd that she didn’t betray him or will this keep them apart forever? Will they ever heal from losing Seth and get a chance at happiness once again? Their story is about loss, grief, forgiveness and healing. Be sure to have your tissues as you read this beautifully written story that you won’t be able to put down.

A Bid For Love by Kathleen Fuller is a wonderful story. Ezra is single and has his eyes on the beautiful and sweet Hannah he buys butter from at the market. He buys so much butter just to be able to talk to Hannah. At an auction a quilt is up for bidding. Hannah wants the quilt very badly and feels a connection to it, so she keeps bidding, hoping she will be the highest bidder. Get ready for a little mystery and maybe a little bit of romance in this heart warming story. Ezra feels badly for Hannah when she doesn’t win the quilt and really botches things up when he tries to make them right!

Sweeter Than Honey by Kelly Irwin is a great read with wonderful characters that you will instantly connect with. Isabelle has moved with her family from Tennessee to Bee County, Texas. Isabelle is having trouble fitting in. She tries to make friends and become a part of the community. When she runs into Will at the store things really take a turn, but will it be for the better or will it make everything worse? Isabelle and Will both have trouble trusting people, and that makes for a wonderful story of two young people who try to find their way with forgiveness and trusting each other.

Love In Store by Vannetta Chapman is a compelling story that is surrounded by mystery and characters who are nice and at times a little outspoken. Stella is quick to say what is on her mind and that doesn’t sit well with some people in the town. There is something very strange going on at the Old Mill and even in the town. David doesn’t really like Stella at first, but working at the same place, knows he needs to try to get along with her. As more weird things take place , can they work together to solve the mystery? They are both trying to find peace. This is a great story that will keep readers glued to their seats.

AN AMISH MARKET is a wonderful collection of novellas by four of my favorite authors Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller, Kelly Irvin, and Vannetta Chapman. I loved catching up on characters that I grew to love and making new friends. AN AMISH MARKET is a fantastic read for anyone who enjoys inspirational Amish fiction. This is definitely a book I would re-read. Reading a story by any of these authors is a treat in itself, but having all four in the same collection is fantastic.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson through Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
