This holiday story from Robin Covington is sexy, short and sweet. Perfect for curling up in front of the Christmas tree after a busy day.

Tessa and Nick had incredible chemistry. I liked that there was just enough of a backstory and conflict for a short story before diving into the heat. If you like hot quickies, you'll love Secret Santa Baby by Robin Covington.

Since college Tessa Stoneman has had feelings for her long-time friend, Nicholas Boone, even when she was dating his best friend. But now with Christmas right around the corner, it seems someone is determined to win Tessa's heart by being her Secret Santa and gifting her with items from the 'Santa Baby' song. However, when her Secret Santa is revealed, will Tessa give her Mr. Right a chance?

This story was a quick and fantastic read where the pages really flew by due to the wonderful main characters and happiness the heroine feels as she receives her gifts; the delightful combination of intense moments and playful banter that had me liking both the hero and heroine; and the fast-paced plot that had me reading quickly, determined to discover whether the hero and heroine will get their happy ever after, especially because of the obstacles they face to be together such as whether they're willing to risk their friendship if things don't work out between them.

The way this story started had me completely hooked, as the heroine enjoyed the first surprise she received on her visit to her grandmother. Will Tessa realize who her Secret Santa is? Furthermore, I loved that the hero and heroine were willing to take a chance on the other, even though things might not work out between them. I also liked how resilient and courageous the heroine was in wanting to branch out when it came to her skills as a graphic designer. While the hero, I loved how brave he was when it came to confessing his feelings for Tessa. Really, it was either go big or go home and Nick chose to go big with the moment he hoped Tessa would be his.

Overall, Ms. Covington has delivered a splendid read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was powerful; the romance completely hot; and the ending had me cheering for this couple's happy ever after, as these two are meant to be. Also, I loved the surprise the hero had for the heroine towards the end. So much so that I cried happy tears. I would recommend Secret Santa Baby by Robin Covington, if you enjoy the opposites attract trope or books by authors Avery Flynn, Kimberly Kincaid, Tessa Bailey and Robin Bielman.

It’s a charming read from the first page to the last as friends become lovers in this sweet yet sexy read. Amidst a heartwarming backdrop of the holidays readers will find themselves rooting for these two people as they finally go after what their hearts have desired for years in an ending that is a truly happy one.

Tessa has known Nick and Damien since college and has a close connection to both as she once dated Damien and is now desperately wanting to claim Nick. Fears over losing her friendship with Nick has always held her back though as has Nick’s honor regarding the bro-code in his desire to claim her. With time running out though, as she’s soon leaving the company they all work for, feelings come to the forefront as desperation and what-ifs have both of them finally putting their hearts on the line. Tessa and Nick are immensely appealing, close-knit as friends with a crackling connection that’s meant to be more. They know each other’s hopes and dreams and are clearly on the same page when it comes to what defines HEA which is why I was rooting for them every step of the way. Damien’s role here is nothing more than a distraction. He’s a man who only wants what he can’t have and I wish he hadn’t gotten in the way as more time could’ve been devoted to Tessa and Nick. He was a little boy trying to play the game of love, but he’s not even close to the level of Nick whose actions in winning over Tessa gave me all sorts of warm fuzzies. For once, Nick chose his wants over being a gentleman and it made for a sensual romance with a cheer-inducing conclusion.

Overall this was a quick read, lacking a bit in substance, but still entertaining. It was a carefree read with a likable main couple whose sensual dance around each other kept me turning the pages with anticipation. It’s an ideal way to relax during this busy holiday season as it gives readers a bit of afternoon delight and a HEA that warms the heart while making you blush.

This was a very short story but it was really cute. I'm a sucker for a good friends to lovers story. I loved the Secret Santa gifts and the history between Tessa and Nicholas. This was just the story to get me into the holiday spirit.

Secret Santa Baby is a quick read. I think I finished it within an hour. It was a great holiday short about two people who have been friends since college.

Nick regrets not telling Tessa how he feels when he had the chance all those years ago. Instead he had to watch her date his best friend. Tessa thinks Nick doesn't see her as more than a friend but she really wants to jump his bones. She believes in love but her ex doesn't and he thinks she will come crawling back to him when she figures out love doesn't exist in the way she thinks it does.

Tessa's secret santa is sending her gifts straight out of the Santa Baby song. These gifts are not cheap and it is looking more and more like this person has an interest in her. But will it be who she hopes it is or will she be doomed to remain just Nick's friend forever?

I really enjoyed this story. I do believe this is the first book I have read by Robin Covington and if her longer books are anything like this one then I will be a fan for life. I do wish we could see more of Tessa and Nick's story though. I didn't want it to end! I'd highly recommend this!

Secret Santa Baby was a short and sweet friends-to-lovers romance that can take a super annoying holiday song (seriously, does anyone like that song???) and make it cute and romantic....plus, put you in a warm and fuzzy holiday mood to boot. Tessa and Nicholas are so cute together that on the one hand it's fortunate that this book is so short, since you're dying for them to get together :) (On the other hand, there's not a whole lot of development here outside their relationship--honestly, it felt like four people worked at their business, even though I'm sure that's not the case. For a lot of the book, it seemed that four people made up the entire fictional world.) Still, this was a fun book to cuddle up with on a snowy day.

Secret Santa Baby spreads holiday romantic magic when best friends Tessa and Nicholas finally decide that it's time to let their true feelings known. Short but really smart, entertaining and sexy. Timing was always an issue for Tessa and Nick. Also the fact that Tessa has had an on again off again relationship with Nick's bet friend wasn't conducive to any form of big reveal.

These two captured my interest in the endearing way they've always wanted each but could never act on it. I loved the way they both wooed each other in their own unique way. The sincerity of the feelings and the resulting heat between them was front and center.

Great holiday read.
