Just as Claire is about to marry Nicholas Black, she is grief stricken when his plane explodes in Europe and he is presumed dead. A phone call alerts Claire that he is instead being held captive by a dangerous enemy. It is up to Claire to find and rescue the man she loves.

Another wonderful book about Claire and Black, two fantastic characters that I can't get enough of! This is a thrilling ride, as usual with this series, and I loved every minute spend reading it!
