This sampler contained a good variety of titles. I like these as a way to try different stories to gauge your interest before committing to the full story. I want to read more of the Ruta Sepetys book
This wasn't what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it. It had good pacing, and I found myself really getting involved in the story and thinking about it long after it was over.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.
The sampler of upcoming books was refreshing. I always enjoy seeing these samplers.
Nice to see sneak peaks of a variety of books, most of these are outside of my usual wheel house. Salt to the Sea I ended up buying the book when it was published and LOVED it!
Salt to the Sea: I liked this one overall, but I'm not sure if I'd love it. With all the POVs, there wasn't a lot on each character to go off of.
The Dark Days Club: Definitely different than anything I've read before. I've heard good things about this, and while the excerpt was good, it's a little slow and detailed overload.
Rebel Sands: This snippet intrigued me, and really made me want to pick the book up. I'd love to see what happens next.
The Passion of Dolssa: I didn't mind this one, but it's not something I'd pick up off the shelf to read on my own violation.
Wink Poppy Midnight: I don't know what I just read! I liked the very beginning, but this got more bizarre and confusing as I kept going.
This was a preview of books due to be released in Spring 2016!
Looked through this at the time it came out. It was interesting to hear about upcoming titles.
I love these sneak peeks into the hot up and coming releases! Makes you more excited!
Surprisingly, I enjoyed all of these books! The writing style of all the authors featured in the sample was lovely. I'm mostly excited for The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman. I can't wait to get my hands on that novel, and all the others as well, because they seem pretty good.
