A cleverly written book with great characters. I enjoyed the characters and suspense of the book as well as how the characters fall in love its witty fun and a great read.

Honestly, I was pretty invested in this one. Yes, it is a lot of explicit sex (it is an EC book, after all), but I got invested in the pack. I was a little concerned about how quickly Kari comes to terms with this new world that she's thrown into, but it made sense that her instincts were taking over.

I appreciated the intrigue and suspense surrounding the wolf side, but there was also a lot of human emotion that kept me reading. It's clear early on that there are people that are not happy that Andreas has found his mate and while it seems like Kari is able to quell one threat, another pops up. The 'whodunit' was somewhat expected, but I still appreciated the investigation that went into it. I would love to know more about these other wolves and see them find their mates.
