I enjoyed the different perspective that this book brings to Presidential history. Most of the time, we think and learn about Presidents only in the context of them as leaders and makers of history. It is great to remember that they were parents and family members, too, making decisions about smaller (but still important) family matters in addition to decisions about wars and such. Presidents are people, too.
