Unfortunately, The Last Boy and Girl in the World by Siobhan Vivian missed the mark for me. Normally Vivian's novels are some of my favorites, but I found the characters, Keely, in particular to be hard to relate to and the premise of the book was hard to wrap my head around. There is a copy in my classroom, but it's not a favorite.

The premise of this book is great and it starts off well, but it just starts to drag and nothing really happens. If you like YA you will probably relate to it much more than I did.

This book was a heartbreaking and emotional novel that was full of character and heart.
