This is a simple, clearly written and overall helpful little guide to food swaps and the recipes likely to make them succeed. Such a neat and unexpected idea!

I wish that there were more recipes in here. The salted Carmel sauce does sound ama,ing though. I've never done a food swap, but this book would make it very easy to set one up

Lovely guide for anybody interested in organize and/or visit the food swap!

Be prepared - this book contains quite an extensive guide on food swap events, including lots of organizational details. I loved that aspect, as I like to read organizational guides in general (as I am not a very practical person myself and can gain a lot from these books), but it might be too much information for you, if you do not wish to organize such events or simply care about the recipes more.

As for the recipes - I love them! Practically all of them can be used for edible gifts and same are very convenient for picnics or feeding a large group (like soups).
All of them seem to be quite easy ones to make (few exceptions, but nothing high cuisine here) and there are some nice twists on the traditional taste, which I appreciate.
I need to try the salted caramel sauce this winter!
There is also a lot of useful tips and tricks, including the shelf life and packaging within every recipe. The photos are not included for every recipe, but for more than a half they are (some recipes truly does not need a photo).

The visual side is gorgeous, with lovely photos and nice decorational inspirations.
