I can't believe I never reviewed this! I've kept an eye on Gallagher's work ever since LOVING her earlier release RAPT. This wasn't the next book I expected from her but I'm so glad to have found it; I might have missed it had I not recognized her name. A fascinating look at a topic I didn't know I was longing to explore.

This history of the post office was more interesting that I had expected (I'm not sure what I expected, really). It makes sense that mail delivery was integral to the development of the country, though.
