I'm trying to catch up on books I read while I was sick and forgot or simply didn't get around to posting. My apologies for both the vagueness of these as well as the tardiness.

I remember finding a lot of the thriller aspects better than the budding romance. I think the thing, for me, with combining a thriller with a romance is to be convinced that with all that is happening around them the romance is progressing in a way that makes sense. This, to my memory, was mostly okay but a few times it just made them seem amateurish, unprofessional, and dangerous. That said, I did think it worked overall.
