I nearly blinked and missed all the romance, alphas, and deliciousness in this book, and honestly, that was the only drawback for me, was that it was super quick. but you gotta love that little extra Daddy romance the author snuck in there. Overall for someone who has not read any of the other books in the series, I followed along reasonable well, though if I had read the other books in the series, it would have added much more enjoyment for me.
