In part 3 we finally find out what was done to Ella when she was just a girl. We also find out about Sean's childhood and what lead him to choose his particular profession. We want to believe that things like this never happen, that there isn't such ugliness in the world but unfortunately that's not the case.

Great ending to this serial! I could see how it was going to end, but the connection between Ella and Sean was surprising to find out about. I'll definitely be looking for more books to ready by Walker.
