Books by Shiloh Walker are a 50/50 with me. Often depends on mood. This one I think I do like, though Part 1 was quite short and over quickly. I need a few chapters more to fully figure out if it this can be more than a 3 star book, but so far it's looking good, even with the somewhat awkward plot.
Though we don't get to know a whole lot about Sean in this installment besides the fact that he is a male prostitute, I do like the way he approaches his arrangement with Ella. It has been stated that something terrible happened to her when she was quite young but only hinted towards what might have actually happened. That being stated I like that Sean so carefully thinks though every move he makes with her never wanting to push her too far.
Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
Hmmmmm. I'm not sure how this is all going to work out, with Ella clearly having a terrible past and Sean being a prostitute. Thirty nights is clearly going to end up involving feelings - probably for both of them, but definitely for Ella. If it ends badly, she's going to have a reason to lock herself away forever. If they get an HEA they have an interesting start that might be hard to overcome...plus lots of money.
I can't wait to see what comes next.
