Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
What a kookie bunch of characters. Remedy has come to a small Texas town to try and get the dirt off of her reputation and she's thrown head-to-head against the fire chief. It's a cliche, but sparks fly immediately and it was a lot of fun watching these two go from rivals to love. The love scenes were hot, and there was a lot of emotion in there. It'll be fun watching what else happens in this little town and if anyone else falls in love.
I will say, the fight they had at the end really bothered me. I'm not sure that I would be able to come back from something like that and I think that's why I took a star off.
Have not read this book as I did not get time to read it yet. Will update the review after I have gotten a chance to read it.
Sparks fly at the Briscoe Ranch when wedding planner Remedy Lane meets fire chief Micah Garrity. As the two clash over some of her plans and disasters, the chemistry between the burns hot. When feelings develop and the attraction becomes something they can't control, they may both be burned.
Good start to a series with a fun premise, interesting characters, and an apt setting.
Due to family commitments, I have been unable to read this book. I thank you for the provision of it, and if I get to it in the future, I will make sure to leave public reviews on Goodreads and my personal blog. Again, apologies and thanks.
There is nothing better than sinking your teeth into a well written romance. I swooned so hard over this book and that's. not an easy task with the amount of good books I've read. This one was sweet to the point of having a toothache. The love felt real, the characters felt real. I was drawn from the first word on the page.
