Even though this book is non-fiction, it satisfies a taste for science fiction. The planned future IS today's science fiction, as was true for my ancestors, who wouldn't have imagined the moon landing, satellites, or even cars and telephones. The book was very readable and exciting to the imagination. My older students would enjoy it very much, especially those who like science fiction, space, and/or the future.
