Kelsey Kyle is driven. She's worked hard for her career and is dedicated to her job. She has good friends. But she's missing someone to share her life with. When romance writer Micah Holmes attends the latest convention, Kelsey ends up being his personal concierge. For the first time she's tempted to ignore the no fraternization with guests rule.

Micah wants the same thing -- time with Kelsey and he's very persuasive. This book had a really delicious heat level throughout and I did love Micah's pursuit of Kelsey. She eventually gives in and Micah and Kelsey begin a torrid affair, both thinking it was sex-without-strings-with-an-expiration-date.

Even though these two fell in love very quickly, it didn't feel like instalove and I really appreciated how their falling in love was portrayed. It was sweet and sexy and super hot. What more can a reader want?

This is a quick read that held my attention until the very last pages. I adored these characters and their journey to HEA. Nicely done.

Her Secret Lover by Robin Covington is an amazing tale of what happens when the chemistry between two people burns too strong! Micah and Kelsey will have you hooked, and hoping for that happily ever after, from their first meeting.

Kelsey is a junior concierge at a prestigious hotel in Las Vegas. She is a focused and driven young woman who has a vision for her future. Her love life definitely takes a back seat to her work, as she strives to reach her professional goals.

Micah is a famous (by accident) romance writer. He is in Las Vegas for a convention and is assigned to Kelsey as a VIP guest. Although he is well known in the romance industry, Micah is working towards publishing in a new genre and not having much success.

Both Kelsey and Micah have experiences that make them shy away from engaging in committed relationships. However, when they are together, they can’t fight the pull towards the other person. Their connection is hot and intentense. But more than that, they are fun and have fun together. The scene in the hotel room when the box breaks had me laughing out loud!

Her Secret Lover is a sweet romance. Robin Covington is an excellent writer that doesn’t just tell a story. Her writing draws you in so that you feel like you are listening to a friend fill you in on their love life. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficiently the author resolved all of the issues leading to a HEA for Kelsey and Micah.

This is the first book that I have read by Covington but it will not be my last. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and all opinions are my own, but I would not leave a review for a book that I did not truly enjoy. This was a great read and I suggest that you check out this book and author!

A little slow at times, but all in all, a fun read. Micah and Kelsey seem well-suited for one another although there wasn't as much development as I hoped...especially on Micah's side of things. It did end differently than I thought it would, and I'm not exactly sure how I feel about the ending yet. Overall, a cute fun read that makes me want to go back to Vegas.

Read as an intern to pull quotes. sexier side of lovestruck. I liked the hero. The heroine was a little hard to like and connect with.
