The book is well written and fairly exciting, but I just couldn't really get into the book. The author doesn't do a bad job, it was just something that I could not connect with.

Jim and his sister Madison run into a lot of trouble while the world is melting down. This book takes them only partway through their adventure; I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I think that my older students would enjoy this book. Note: there is substance abuse by the main character in this book.

DNF. I could not get into this book. This book was not for me.

Found this story hard to read and keep my interest but the writing was well done.
