Stealing the Bachelor by Sonya Weiss

I love a closed-door romance, and they are incredibly popular at my library so of course we will be getting this one. It's very cute, if not a little too perfect. It felt a little childish, but I actually think that's great because it gives it major crossover appeal. This is the kind of book I can recommend to moms who want something low-steam to read with their teen daughters. This also works perfectly as a standalone, although now I want to get my hands on the other books in the series. The characters are cute, and Eric was particularly sweet. Very fun story, that I think will have a wide appeal here.

A very sweet and charming love story.
Many thanks to Entangled Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest w.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and I have also purchased a copy.

This is the third book of the series. While it is a part of the series, you don't have to read them to fully understand and enjoy this book. The prior couples do make multiple appearances (as the three female protagonists in the series are sisters)

I enjoyed the dual POV format that the book is written in. I really helped me to better connect with the characters.

Ann Snyder is in MAJOR trouble. She hired someone that she thought was really helping her with her business but instead he stole from her and used her business to steal from others. She goes to her high school nemesis, Eric Maxwell. Eric is an attorney so he will know what to do.

Ann doesn't like Eric because of a long misunderstand since high school days. Eric has had a crush on Ann since he met her. These two strike sparks off of each other but there are some hurdles to get through first. Can Eric prevent Ann from going to prison for something that she didn't do? Can the real culprit be located and brought to justice? Will a long-standing mix-up be cleared up? Well you will have to real this story to find out.

There are some kissing scenes here. The sexy stuff was just a fade to black so no explicit scenes here in case you don't like that sort of thing.

I really enjoyed this story and I will have to go back and read the prior stories of the sisters as they seem like they will be charming as well.

This is a new to me author so I did not read the other book in the series. However this book was really cute. While Ann had her guard up most of the book but she also showed her softer side as well. I liked all the sisters and there husbands they lost a lot but they also made a family and had each other for the tough times. Eric has a way of wanting to always come to the rescue of those he cares about but I felt in someways he come off as an enabler instead of helping his loved ones out. I liked him and I liked how the author made him more relatable then making him this knight and shining armor guy riding in to save the day and untouchable. I loved Noah and his antics with the sisters. Overall this book was a cute read an I would read it again.

Very hallmark romance, not steamy and very boy meets girl. The end felt a bit rushed but maybe that was just me. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

The story of Ann and Eric. She is broke and needs his help as a lawyer. He doesn't understand why she dislike him so much, but he agrees to help her in exchange for helping him become less of a nerd. Will they get a chance at being together?

Cute and clean...with that reverse My Fair Lady vibe. Ann and Eric have a history that plays well into where this picks up. Eric takes advantage of the situation that Ann finds herself in to spend more time with her and hopefully open her eyes to his feelings. A good read, nothing earth shattering but will give you that warm gooey inside....

This was a really cute story. The premise was great and I thought the author did a great job bringing the characters to life. The heroine was great - sassy yet flawed - and I love the "misunderstanding" storyline. Very cute!

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

A perfectly cute story...although a little convoluted. They both want each other, but use odd premises to get together (granted her case was a little more realistic then his urge to become a 'badboy'). The drama with Lewis wrapped up a little too conveniently for my liking, but I appreciated that they had to struggle to get together.

A cute read.
