Jim Brandon has bought a new home. It's a one story mansion. It was owned previously by a B-movie actor Nigel Letters in the 1930s who is dead. Jim invites his friends to come over to christen his new home for two weeks ignoring hat it is suppose to be haunted. Jim finds out that Nigel is haunting the house among other spirits. This is a haunted house with secrets. What secrets are there? Secrets that will curl your toes. Why isn't Nigel "resting in peace?" What will Jim do with the house?

The novel is a page turner. There is some very descriptive, shocking, and scarey abuse in this novel. However it is balanced with humor. This is a story that may not appeal to some. I do recommend this novel to readers who like Stephen King. It is a book I'm glad that I got to read.
