This is the eleventh novel of the Wicked Lovers series. Stone is an ex-con and Lily is running from...yep you guessed it, her past. Ugh. There's secrets and revenge and trauma to be worked through. The plot I've seen before in other books so that didn't catch my attention. There's A twist I didn't see coming, but that didn't occur until nearly the end of the novel...too late in the game for my liking. Lily is strong and resilient, I dig that about her. To see her overcome her fears is empowering.
