A fascinating read.

The setting is 11th century Wales; Gruffydd ap Cynan, has been missing in action for 12 years, whilst Princess Nesta has been taken to the English court following the death of her father. The complexities of Anglo-Welsh politics are well captured, so careful reading of the first in the series is recommended for those stepping into unfamiliar territory.

Again, very familiar with this period of history - and was attracted to the story of Nesta, a woman with a colourful past.
