A good book that goes into some detail about his look into different species of animals and with wanting to keep the way of nature alive for the future. Yet at times, he would also kill animals with the point of study and other records. When he was younger he had a huge collection of butterflies and other creatures and also drawings of different birds that he had seen over the years. Later he would go to Africa for a Safiri and then much later the Amazon. Still a good book.
What a beautiful story, I have loved it since the very first page.
It's beautifully written and so engaging I couldn't stop reading.
A very focused biography of Theodore Roosevelt. It centers on his environmentalism, but he was also a big hunter. the book tries to show that both aspects of his life were consistent with an overall appreciation of the environment, but I'm not so sure this is the case.
