Heartwarming and enjoyable. Love that the "neighborhood" feel is prevalent throughout. It's like watching 4 hallmark movies simultaneously.
The Holiday Romance Series - One Small Town, Four Great Stories.
Her Mother's Day Miracle by Robyn Grady
Aster Lawrence is just trying to survive after her would was shattered. Riley Mathis is a handsome widower with a baby daughter to raise.
As I read this story, I had to continue because I absolutely needed to know what happened in Aster's life. The story had me glued to the end. I had to read the whole of it to the end. Great short feel good story.
Hers for the Summer by Robyn Grady
Logan Taylor (Aster's Ex-fiancé from Her Mother's Day Miracle) is a lawyer, who is not sure if he has hit a cat named Spook. Following the cat into a bakery to be sure the cat is alright he meets Melanie Beachmere. Melanie is the owner of MB, Miller's Bakery.
Before even reading Hers for the Summer I was prepared to hate Logan because of reading Her Mother's Day Miracle and thinking there must have been something wrong with him. As I wondered why he and Aster couldn't pull their lives together after of the loss of their unborn baby. But who wouldn't like a man that stops his car and trail after a cat to make sure he is alright..I love Logan as I find him to be so kind and considerate. The relationship with him and Melanie is cute. With the tender love of teenagers and another couple. Kinda three maybe four romanced in one story. This is a sweet feel good story.
A Haunted Moonlit Night by Robyn Grady
Jack Mason, developed an internet company and sold it. Now he is living at an old lighthouse. General likable guy, willing to help out others with computer problems.
Sammy Briar, is a Photographer doing some research on her ancestors. She goes to the lighthouse that used to belong to her family.
Writing on Sebastian Crane's headstone "I'll be waiting" that showed up after a week after the accident has become legend
This is a very short, sweet and clean romance. I enjoyed it, I must say the ending was a surprise and made it fun.
One Christmas Knight by Robyn Grady
Dr. Daman Knight is in Point St Claire is taking a new job in L.A. He loves the little town of Point St. Claire but just doesn't feel like he is being accepted by the locals. He needs to sell his house and move on.
Emma Bagwell is a Brokerage Manager that Daman needs to sell his house. With a steamy kiss once shared, Emma and Daman feel an attraction that Emma wants to ignore. Emma has a sister that shows up with her baby girl. Emma agrees to babysit but panics and with Daman's help together they look after the baby.
This was so sweet. Wish I lived in a small town where Doctors make house calls. The chemistry between Emma and Daman is flammable! Happy endings all around!
All stories are in Point St. Claire and it has been fun running into the characters from this group of stories
Book #1- Her Mother's Day Miracle
Riley Mathis will do anything for his infant daughter. He lost his wife. Aster Lawrence has been through a lot and her neighbor has an infant daughter. She is not over with what happened to her last year. This was my favorite of all 4.
Book #2- Hers for the Summer
Melanie Beachmere has been the responible guardian of her younger sister. She would do anything for her and that includes putting her life on hold. She meets an attorney in her bakery one day because the cat that lives there ran out in front of him. He wanted to make sure the cat was fine. I think the cat had matchmaking plans of his own!
Book #3-One Haunted Moonlight Night
Jack Mason does not believe in ghosts. He brought an old lighthouse and cottage. A photographer, Sammy Briar, looking for answers about her relative who had history with Jack's property.
Book #4- One Christmas Knight
Emma Bagwell has a reputation of being a hard person to get along. Her sister shows up with a 6 week old and needs her help watching her so she can go tell the father. Emma has never taken care of an infant. She looks for advice to the town's doctor, Damon Knight. I think this was a sweet story about a woman who finds herself and not knowing that a little baby can change her life.
