Being more of an amateur enthusiast rather than an expert of calligraphy, I found this little book rather easy to follow. I covers the basics of calligraphy quite well and would be perfect for beginners or people who just want to casually try their hand at calligraphy. I will say though that there were some places where I wish the explanations had been a bit more detailed. But this book is still quite a good resource for those wanting to practice their calligraphy skills.
