Well this was just a good time. I was fully invested emotionally and I loved the amazing cast of characters that Stacey created in and around the fire house. There were a few times I got choked up, especially as Scott and Jamie grew closer and during that inevitable explosion between the two of them. What I appreciated is that they were both really respectful of one another, knowing that theirs wasn't a job where they could just phone it in if their relationship wasn't going well. I loved that Scott's sisters adopted Jamie and that even his tough-on-the-outside father could see how special she was.
All in all, this book checked all the boxes - sweet with a bit of heat and some hunky firefighters. Now I want chocolate pudding though.
Loved this addition to the series which tells the story of new lieutenant of Boston's Fire Engine 59, Jamie Rutherford and firefighter, Scott Kincaid. Although getting involved is complicated due to Jamie being Scott's superior, they can't fight the attraction between them.
I loved watching this relationship develop! A great installment in the Boston Fire Series!
