The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake offers an engaging story that will leave readers swooning. The story follows the unexpected love story between Greer and Asher, two individuals from different worlds who find themselves drawn to each other despite their initial animosity. The chemistry between the two main characters is palpable, and the author does an excellent job of building up the tension and anticipation as their relationship develops. This book is an excellent choice for fans of contemporary romance looking for a captivating love story with well-rounded characters and plenty of steamy moments.
Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review...
I am so behind with these series. I have to read the 2nd book and 3rd book before I dive in with my ARC of this book :(
Jessica Clare really captured my heart after I read the first book of the Billionaires Boys Club and since I'm a sucker for billionaire men I started stalking Jessica's books.
The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake is the 4th book of The Billionaires and Bridesmaid series. It's a story about Greer and Asher. I really love their love-hate relationship. It's not corny and it's not annoying at all. The tension between Greer and Asher is really intense. You can feel their emotions, their sadness, their happy days, and their love. I love everything about this book.
Finally Greer's story. We see Greer throughout the series and I'm happy we finally get her story.
Greer is a bit uptight and not Asher's normal type.
Whatever it was, he might have been the only man in Vegas to get an erection at the sight of a cardigan.
Greer has always had a thing for Asher and one night turns into a pregnancy and enter the stubbornness, assumptions and miscommunications.
He didn't deserve to be in their lives, not after that night in the gardens.
I got a bit annoyed that she loved him always and then he makes one screw up, sure it was a gigantic one, but there wasn't any room for forgiveness. She immediately cuts him out like he never meant anything to her.
Asher had to WORK to get Greer to forgive him.
"Nailing you in the garden was my favorite mistake,"
I did like it but many story arcs have been over done and gets tiresome. Though it does not stop me from continuing this series and anything from this author.
I love a lot of tropes, but the best-friends-to-lovers is definitely one of my favorites and just one of the reasons why I wanted to read The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake! I loved the synopsis and have also been a fan of Ms. Clare's ever since I read her Wicked Games just to identify a couple more. And while it took me awhile before I actually read The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake, I really enjoyed it once I did!
I wasn't too sure if Greer was going to be a very strong heroine when I first started reading, but that feeling didn't last long at all. Greer might be sweet, shy, and a little nervous, but she certainly doesn't take any crap from Asher after he screws things up. She's fierce, strong, and she makes him work for her. Greer doesn't immediately forgive him or trust him and I thought that was great. It was exactly the right kind move and I really like Greer - she is wonderful.
And I love Asher, but oh my gosh, he does some things that make you shake your head, facepalm, and ask him what he was thinking. He for sure has some cringe-worthy moments, but I promise you that he's actually a good guy and completely redeemable. Asher is smart and realizes that he loves Greer and he does anything he has to to try win her love back. Yes, he's a little devious, but it's out of love, so I can't fault him. Not only that, but he also is beyond sweet and thoughtful too. Asher stole my heart and made me fall in love him.
The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake is a fast read that will make you gasp, make you laugh, and put a smile on your face. It will make your heart ache, warm it, and melt it. The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake was a fun, sexy, excellent read and I loved it. I can't wait to read Taylor's story next and the other books in the Billionaires and Bridesmaids series!
The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake can be read as a standalone, it's told from Asher and Greer's POV, and they do get their happily-ever-after ending.
~ A Hopeless Romantic's Booklandia, 4 Stars
The Billionaire's Favorite Mistake will have you repeatedly muttering "Asher Asher Asher" to yourself as you shake your head. And wanting to smack Greer for lacking some backbone. But this was just like the other Billionaire's books: fantastic!
Greer has been in love with Asher for what seems like forever. And she finally sees her chance at getting Asher to really "see" her. What she doesn't count on is Asher's condition when she finally makes her play.
Greer finally realizes that Asher never saw her that way and stops talking with him. Except he's left her a little gift that will make an appearance in about 9 months....
Asher sees that Greer is pregnant and if he wasn't missing her before, he definitely is now that she's pregnant as well. Asher will stop at nothing to get Greer (and their baby) back with him.
The Billionaire’s Favorite Mistake by Jessica Clare was an absolute gem of a read. I absolutely loved every moment of this sweet, sexy and sassy billionaire romance. There is just something about reading a Jessica Clare book that brings a big fat smile on my face and boy oh boy did this book had everything I would want in a friends to lovers story line.
Greer has always been in love with her best friend, Asher. So when Greer decides to finally make her move on Asher, she was sadly disappointed when her moment with Asher was nothing but a drunken mistake. Hurt and disappointed, Greer distances herself from Asher.
“You’re gorgeous and I want better memories than a drunken fumble. I want you to love me again. I want you back so we can experience everything we should have had before when I was too dumb and blind to see it. ”
Asher is well aware that he hurt Greer and he is truly sorry. And so when he tries to make it up to her, Greer distances herself from him. Soon Asher discovers that he misses her badly and also realizes that Greer is more than a best friend. She is someone that he truly loves. As Asher tries to work his way back into Greer’s heart, will Greer be able to forgive him? And will this billionaire discover that Greer is his everything?
No one can write a billionaire romance like Jessica Clare. Her characters are always written in such a fun and fresh manner that you can’t help but fall in love with them. And the way Asher worked his way back into Greer’s heart was utter bliss. So if you are looking for a sexy, smart, and highly entertaining love story of two best friends rekindling their friendship and getting their second chance then The Billionaire’s Favorite Mistake is definitely a book I would recommend.
