Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Now this was just a great read. Haley is recovering from a pretty spectacular heartbreak...both romantically and family-wise. Her roommate finally convinces her to go on a night out and she meets the perfect guys. They dance, they chat, and they exchange numbers....or so she thinks. Once she texts him, she finds out that the number belongs to a stranger...one she slowly starts relying on as a sounding board for any issues that come up.

Enter Kyle, the “geeky” IT guy at Haley’s new company. The two of them hit it off and things are going swimmingly until Kyle realizes that he’s the mystery guy that Haley’s been texting.

I loved watching the friendship form between these two. They have an easy relationship with daily lunches and chats...impromptu outings and plenty of fun. There was something about the two of them that had me rooting for them. I didn’t know if I wanted Kyle to tell her or if I wanted him to get rid of the number and pretend the whole thing never happened. Because when they start to see each other as more than just friends, you know it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out.

Overall a great read that kept me so invested the entire time. I wanted more with their families. Especially his brother and her family. I wanted more of them together as a couple, but mostly I wanted to just keep watching them together. Great work!

Pleasantly surprised by this book. It sounded good from the description. But I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first book by this author.
But I really enjoyed the story and characters, and was glad I decided to read it.
Would totally suggest to anyone to pick up
