Wow!!! I didn’t really know what to expect going into this story but it totally amazed me.

I have been a fan of L.A. Fiore’s for some time now and this book is the reason why. It is filled with so many different elements you can’t help but fall in love with the story and characters.

I will say that this book will have some triggers for some readers and it can also be kind of dark and gritty to read that others may not like it. Just be warned this is not an easy read!!!

I loved the suspense and mystery that was involved in the storyline and I love the love story that was built in . It was the perfect mix of both!!

Definitely a book I would recommend to all L.A. Fiore’s fans!!!

I know. I know! I’m giving this 3*. But I liked it. I didn’t love it, but it was sure compelling reading where I couldn’t unstick this book from my hands!

It started off really strong. My stomach churned.

We have one lad who comes from an abusive home and all that impacts on that and him growing up.

Then we have Mia his friend who comes from a loving home.

What happens in this crossover is horrendous.

Some of the writing was a bit dodgy in areas and some a bit repetitive and lacking in the ability to hold my attention in parts.

Everyone loves a happy ending? Is that true? Or a realistic one?

One thing about this author is that she will give you a complete story. Her stories are full and keep you emotionally engaged. This book had me crying in the beginning and crying at the end. It is full of twists and turns, heartache and pain. It is a story of family, love and passion. The the HEA is the best ever. Mia and Cole met when they were kids. Mace. Mia's dad. saved Cole from his dad's wrath. Once he came into their lives, he was theirs. Through all the trials and tribulations they never gave up on him. He always felt he was not good enough to be around them. They loved him as if his blood ran through their veins. When that love between him and Mia changed to romantic love, Cole tried to stay away. Mia was not having it. She pushed and pulled until he had no choice. The story is romance, crime, mystery and drama all wrapped into one great book. I really enjoyed the entire book!
