Thoroughly enjoyed this book. great descriptions and enjoyable plot and characters! I've not read this author before but will do so again in the future!

I was really looking forward to reading this book . I found it very interesting but I thought it lacked the stories behind the women. Yes there were lots of interesting facts but that was all it was so I did not feel I knew the real women. I enjoyed it but felt that it lacked something.

Being a history buff and a supporter of women, you can see why I needed to read this book. It was not a disappointing read, but I was definitely hoping for a bit more...warmth, I suppose; for some in-depth stories on the various women. It read much more like a history book. However, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.
