When one of your best friends dies, there are bound to be changes in your life. When Lacey leaves each of you a bequest with a message to use it in a certain way, you have to decide if you are strong enough to fulfill that wish. Rosemary is a small town, southern gal from Morning Glory, Mississippi. She is challenged to get out from her mother's thumb and go on an adventure. Coincidentally, her cousin in New York is going to be out of town for two weeks and Rosemary can stay in her SoHo loft and look after her cats. Rosemary takes the chance and off she goes.

This is a story about finding yourself, following your dreams, taking chances and yes, romance. On her first day in town, she gets lost and meets Sal Genovese, in Little Italy. There is a bit of insta-love, but it is written in such a fun way. It is going to be a two week fling, fun for them both. Of course, they both fall in love, but are not sure how and if it could possibly work. I like both of these characters. They are both trying to find their way out from under their mother's thumbs and seem to draw strength from one another. Their adventures in New York added a third character to the story, New York City itself. This was a delightful romance, with a couple of graphic, steamy scenes. I really enjoyed the story and will continue it to see what adventures are waiting for the rest of this group of friends.
