It is however full of self-promotion bits for the author's books that end up to be annoying

What is the secret of a successful keynote? Is it a skill that we can learn? The author certainly did. And built a thriving business out of delivering keynotes. This book is about his journey. But wish he had spelt out how the reader could do the same.

Supremely personal and candid account of a businessperson's journey. Might have benefited from carefully editing. This book could have used more distance, to put the writer's experience in the context of the public speaking industry and larger economic changes.
